The Hebrew translation of the word "way" is "derek." Derek refers to a path worn by constant walking, and it also can mean a journey. Metaphorically speaking, derek refers to our unique actions and behavior. In other words, way (derek) speaks of the unique imprints that each of us have that are both genetically inborn and the result of our environment.

"DEREK" Profiles™ have been developed to help an individual uncover and unleash their potential.

"DEREK" Leadership Assessment Profile™
is a tool that uses a series of assessments to create a mirror that reflects leadership potential. The profile helps the individual realistically see where they are currently and then plot a course of where they would like to be as a leader. The profile becomes a stepping-stone to start the Individualized Leadership/Life Coaching Plan™ process.

They can better understand how they learn and develop skills in their learning, thinking, and processing. In addition, parents and educators can use this tool to better be able to coach, direct, and facilitate learning for their children/students.

Change "IT" Card™ is a simple tool to begin the process of developing habits that are intentional and purposeful to produce transformation personally and professionally. The Change “IT” Card is designed to probe into what is it that needs to change or what is it that needs to be developed or strengthened.

FutureNow’s Life Action Plan Process™

What is a Life Action Plan? A Life Action Plan looks at all dimensions of your life holistically and crafting a roadmap for movement in all of those dimensions. We start off by examining 7 dimensions of life and identifying your balance in those areas by looking at your priorities. Then we look at areas for habit development that are achievable, inspiring, measurable, and can be shared. The life plan is crafted as a process that has goals/objectives that can be easily communicated.

FutureNow’s Individualized Leadership/ Life Coaching Plan™

Individualized Leadership or Life Coaching Plan (ILCP) is a process developed and reviewed for each client. While an individual is ultimately responsible for their own personal and professional development, the partnership of the coach provides a significant resource to help the client shape their goals and progressively move toward them. This is an important distinction of FutureNow’s approach to personal leadership and life action development. The individualized coaching plan is crafted as a process that has goals/objectives that can be easily communicated.

Priority Management Process™

There is a basic premise regarding Priority Management: if you don’t schedule your priorities, everyone and everything else around you will. If you don’t take charge of your schedule, teammates, vendors, solicitors, managers, golf buddies, relatives, and whoever or whatever else will fill your days for you.

If you don’t identify your top priorities and schedule your day around them, at the end of the day you’ll always find yourself using leftover space to cram in what you consider important. And you know the worst thing? That’s usually exhaustion time. The Priority Management Process guides the client through a step-by-step process of personal reflection, collecting personal data, priority development activities, and personal accountability that lead to the “One Day Priority Planning Challenge.”

The MERIT Profile is a character & behavior assessment tool to optimize your hiring and employee development efforts. The MERIT Profile can be applied as a company wide instrument or through custom benchmarks for individual positions (5 custom benchmarks available).

The MERIT Profile is a web-based, print optional report of an individual’s responses to a 60-item character and behavior survey. Results are scored immediately and provide your leadership team with information to support your hiring and people development process.

The MERIT Profile provides a view into 10 character competencies that are grouped as the attitudes, beliefs, and commitments of the person completing this assessment. The 10 character competencies are built around Future Achievement’s proprietary MAXIMIZERS™ principles.
